Operating Systems

Hunter Douglas offers a wide variety of proprietary operating systems. There are two patented motorized systems: PowerView® Automation and SoftTouch®. SoftTouch® is a battery-operated system that assists with the raising and lowering of your window coverings with a gentle move of the wand. PowerView® Automation is more sophisticated and is a truly automated system compatible with smart home technology. With this system you can set up routines for your window coverings to open or close at certain times of day. With smart-home software you can control the coverings with the app, voice commands, or the Hunter Douglas Pebble® remote. Both motorized options are cordless for enhanced child and pet safety.

There are a variety of manual operating systems. If you need cordless operation, speak with our design consultants about UltraGlide®, LiteRise®, and Wand Control. If you prefer the fine-control that cords offer, choose from the following systems: continuous cord loop, standard cordlock, and EasyRise™.

Provenance® Woven Wood Shades

The Artisanal Provenance® Woven Wood Shades are hand crafted to provide window shades that are classically elegant. These shades are made from natural woods, reeds, bamboo, and grasses to add warmth and texture to your interior decor. This material is available in three window covering styles: Roman Shades, Vertical Drapery, and Waterfall Roman Shades. For further customization, you can add a decorative valance and choose decorative band edging to add to your design.
